HR Business Partner

Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain Full-time

The HRBP is responsible for implementing new policies, ensuring the correct implementation of the current ones, and managing day-to-day activities of HR operations,  including Recruitment supervision, Talent Acquisition, Training & Development, Benefits, and employment compliance. 

The person in this role will be in charge of providing HR support for the 7 countries in which we currently operate currently Spain, Sweden, UK, USA, Germany, The Netherlands and Italy. 

The HRBP reports to the Finance and HR Director and liaises with all managers and SMT to provide HR support and guidelines. He/she is also the first point of contact for personnel related issues. 

Your responsibilities:

 

HR Admin

  • Provide HR policy guidance
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures
  • Resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances
  • Supervise hiring and employment activities (including new starter employment processes, employment contracts, agreement, probationary reviews, changes to contracts, etc)
  • Suggest new HR strategies (including compensation, benefits, etc...)
  • Ensure the correct HR Information Systems information, keeping track of employee information, compensation & benefits, ect, making sure the information is always up to date and accurate.

Training & Development 

  •  Lead the design and implementation of the Training Plan for the employees responding to the learning necessities of the employees.
  •  Launch of the retention plans and strategies, to guarantee and minimize rotational risks at the Company
  •  Review and manage on-boarding training and activities for new comers
  • Management and coordination of Performance Appraisal, Sales reviews, Performance Improvement plans, exit interviews for terminating employees, etc

Recruitment

  • Present recruitment reports to all relevant parties.
  • Support recruiter and hiring managers in the closing of hiring packages of newcomers.
  • Provide support and guidelines about market conditions, best practices, agree recruitment strategies and sources.

Education

  • Master in Human Resources or related field or equivalent experience required

Work Experience:

  • 5 years of experience working in Human Resources with primary responsibility and proven professional experience in a Generalist role position (including Recruitment, Training & Development, Employment, Compensation, etc)
  • Knowledge of USA, European and country specific employment laws relating to key areas of responsibility

Languages: 

  • Fluent and correct English spoken and written is a must.
  • Other languages will be a strong plus.
